Last Sunday, January 25, 2004, was the celebration of the feast of Sto, Niño in our town. The civic spirited individuals from St, Stephen Parish church initiated an on-the-spot popularity contest among elementary schools pupils in our town to select the Hermanito of Sto. Niño for this year’s celebration.

     After the first mass during that Sunday, the churchgoers brought with them Sto. Niño in a procession on the streets of our town. The devotees and children gathered again at parish grounds to celebrate the festivities. They have short programs, snacks, quiz bee contest and the counting of popular votes among the candidates for the Hermanito.

     The winners of the different contest were:
