Mrs. Susan Abad-Europa, the chairperson of www.sanesteban.com.ph. was awarded one of the most outstanding San Estebanians by the San Esteban Schools Alumni Association (SESSA) in the recently concluded Terra Bella activities last month. Our chairman was awarded the recognition because for her exemplary undertakings for community service to our to town.
Mrs. Europa, together with her husband Winston and her three daughters joined other San Estebanians in Terra Bella, California to witness the crowning of SESSA Queen Aida Vergara-Visaya of the said annual festivities. Ramon and Violy Lores also came all the way from New York to grace the occasion. The guest speaker for that night was Vice- mayor Norman V. Mendoza, who came with his wife Zorayda as a part of their US tour.
Susan is only on her second year as the chairman of the web and due to her commitment to our community, she had made the Website an institution were our town mates here and abroad have the chance to explore and to know what is happening in our hometown. She also spearheaded the solicitation of old books, used computers and other stuffs for the needs of any interested groups or individuals in our hometown.
