On March 1, 2007 during the 24th General Session of the Hawaii State House of Representatives, John Mizuno, 30th District Representative, introduced a resolution to honor Dr. Ben R. Subsequently, he was accepted as the University of Hawaii Medical School and graduated in 1977. He volunteered in the service and retired as US. Army Medical Officer in August, 1994, with several excellent military awards. Shortly thereafter, he opened his own solo general practice in Waipahu. In August 1997, he and his wife joined the Aloha Medical Mission to the Philippines. In December 2000, 2202, 2004, and 2006, Dr. Galindo and his wife of 41 years, Mrs. Adelle Baxa Galindo, led the San Esteban Aloha Mission (SEAM) Team to the Philippines. In December 2005, the Seam Clinic was built with Dr. and Mrs. Ben Galindo as the main supporters. Dr. Galindo is active in several non-profit Filipino organizations in Hawaii.
