The last night of the town fiesta activities was intended for the Department of Education. The four elementary schools of our town instituted a search for Miss Education 2003, in which the four schools has its own candidates.

      Miss Guianina Duran of SE South Central School won contest. Candidate from Apatot Community School came in second in the person of Miss Roweline Manalo, who almost got all the minor awards. Miss Jhoanna Marie Espanto of Ansad Elementary School coped 3rd place while Miss Lubbel Mariano of SE North Central School came in fourth.

      Mayor Armando V. Abad and his wife Evelyn crowned Miss Duran. Most of the guests for the evening were different municipal and barangay officials as well as some of balikbayans who distributed some Christmas gifts to some pupils.
