My dear town mates:
On behalf of the officers and members of the San Esteban Aloha Mission (SEAM) as well as our dedicated volunteer friends from New York and California who joined us in our 2000 and 2002 missions, I would like to wish all our beloved town mates a peaceful, joyful and healthy town fiesta.
SEAM evolved because of the concerned and caring attitude of some former San Estebanians currently residing in Hawaii. To date, with the help of the local government headed by our Mayor Armando Abad, Vice Mayor Norman Mendoza and especially the medical officers, Drs. Florence Ramirez, Annie de Guzman, Donna Lim and members of the Municipal Health Team, the mission has seen and treated over 3,000 of our town’s indigent population. It has also given away more than $15, 000 cash to those very needy ones. The mission left several thousand dollars worth of medications to the health center. We remain strongly committed to the betterment of our town mate’s well-being. Hopefully, in the future, we can help upgrade the existing medical facility and modernize the equipments and continue to provide badly needed medications for health center. Together we can significantly improve the health or our town mates.
In closing, enjoy the planned festivities for the town fiesta and may you have joyous ad blessed Christmas and a Happy New year.
