Last June 28, 2004 was the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected municipal officials in our municipality. The undertaking was held at our municipal auditorium and was well attended by our constituents. Rev. Father Maurino ‘Boy’ Legaspi officiated the thanksgiving mass.
Mayor Armando V. Abad, who is on his third and last term, headed the new set of our municipal officials for the years 2004 up to 2007. Party mate and incumbent Vice Mayor Norman V. Mendoza were also sworn into office for his second term. Sangguniang Bayan members Dr. Florence V. Ramirez, Johnny Cabalo and Jose Eleccion took their oath of office for their third and last term as members of the legislative body. SBM Arnold Eala also took his oath for second time. New comers SBM George Balmaceda, Rogelio Arreola and Alfredo Tabila were sworn for their initial roles as members of the legislative body. Lastly, Solomon V, Banitez was reinstalled as member of the Sangguniang Bayan.
Municipal Circuit Judge Alpino Florendo has sworn into office the new set of governing body for the years 2004-2007. Gov. Luis ‘Chavit’ Singson, Vice Governor Deogracias Victor Savellano, SPM Jerry Singson, SPM Annaliza Europa Morales and SPM Chita Cordero were among the provincial officials who witnessed the oath taking ceremonies of the said municipal officials.
After the ceremonies, constituents and well-wishers were given a free lunch courtesy of Mayor Abad, Vice Mayor Mendoza and SBMs Cabalo, Eleccion, Arreola and Eala. Mr. William Esperanza from California also contributed six 1.5 liters bottles of brandy to barangay captains and their supporter. Mr. Leonardo V. Abad also donated three lechons and other liquors to satisfy the taste of the male constituents and wines for the ladies.
