Barangay Ansad
April 27 & 28, 2005

     Another simple barangay celebration. As usual, basketball games were held prior to the fiesta days. On April 27 is the Civic Organization and Balikbayan Night. Among the visitors are balikbayans from Seattle, Cresencio & Filipinas Apolonio Castro and son Lee with wife Elizabeth.

     On April 28 is the Coronation Night and Grand Ball Mrs. Ansad 2005. This is an instant popularity contest where all the members and officers of the different women’s associations, there were more than a hundred women, vied for the top 9 positions. The winners came out to be Queen Mrs. Irene Castro, 1st Princess Mrs. Rosalina Espanto, yes, she is also the Queen in the instant coronation in San Rafael, and 2nd Princess Leslyn Esmeralda Ong. The Guest speaker is Vice Mayor Norman V. Mendoza and his partner as crowning guest is SBM Dra. Florence V. Ramirez. Patron saint is San Isidro Labrador.
